Often overshadowed by its championship sibling, the North Course, LACC’s South Course offers a more approachable yet equally captivating experience. Originally designed by George C. Thomas and updated by Gil Hanse and Geoff Shackelford, the South features shark-toothed bunkers and a diverse layout with five distinctive par 3s requiring a range of shots.

The course’s tunnels add to its charm, connecting holes across Wilshire Road and weaving through a metropolitan setting that gives it a unique urban character. With its interesting variety and enjoyable playability, the South Course often receives more play than the North, providing a lighter but still memorable experience in the heart of Los Angeles.
