David McLay Kidd reimagined a previously tight and confined 18-hole course by taking advantage of a new owner’s purchase of additional land. The redesign filled a massive quarry and removed trees, opening expansive views of Los Angeles on this course located just south of downtown. Kidd’s transformation emphasizes spaciousness and strategic play, providing a modern and visually stunning layout that stands apart from its urban surroundings.
