A historic par-70 layout designed by George C. Thomas and Billy Bell Jr. in the early 1930s, the Stanford Golf Course is the training ground for the university’s top-ranked men’s and women’s teams. This scenic course has shaped the games of legends like Tiger Woods, Tom Watson, and Michelle Wie.

Set against the backdrop of grand oak trees and mountain vistas, the course offers a mix of wide-open and narrow tee shots with strategic elevation changes. The elevated 18th tee provides breathtaking views of San Francisco. A pleasant, though sometimes strenuous, walk, Stanford’s varied and challenging layout makes it one of California’s collegiate golf treasures.
