Perched a thousand feet above the Coachella Valley, Stone Eagle is one of the most unique golf courses in the Palm Springs area. Designed by Tom Doak, this course is routed through a rocky, rugged plateau that Doak likened to the surface of Mars. Without the constraints of homesites, Doak created a faux-links style course that harmonizes with the natural landscape. Fairways wind through the rugged terrain, and bold greens are positioned to complement the rocky surroundings. Instead of sand dunes, Doak uses the land’s rock formations to create dramatic features, making Stone Eagle a one-of-a-kind golfing experience.
