Situated a few miles inland from California’s iconic Monterey Peninsula courses, The Preserve Golf Club offers a dramatically different experience. Set within a sprawling 20,000-acre parcel of rolling hills and ancient oaks, this Tom Fazio-designed course exudes serenity and natural beauty. Fazio made minimal changes to the land, preserving the perfection of the routing originally conceived by Poellot and Tatum. The greens are subtle, the bunkering understated, and the atmosphere one of complete tranquility—a refreshing departure from the coastal grandeur nearby.
