Tradition Golf Club

Designed by Arnold Palmer, Tradition Golf Club was envisioned as a luxurious rival to Palm Springs’ top private courses. Built on the historic Hacienda del Gato Ranch, the front nine flows over rolling desert terrain and a flood-control basin, while the back nine hugs the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains. Notable highlights include “Coyote Canyon,” a dramatic stretch of holes (15th–17th) curving around a rocky bend. Palmer’s personal touch is evident in the course’s distinctive features: cascading waterfalls, serpentine bunkers, and vibrant wildflower fields planted in honor of his late wife, Winnie. Tradition Golf Club blends elegance with natural beauty, making it a true desert gem.
